Last week, we shared how you can make Mezzi's AI more personal for richer insights specific to your investing and wealth goals.

Today, we're excited to share expanded AI capabilities. Now you can generate contextual insights and analysis across the Mezzi app.

Open AI Analysis From a Card

See something interesting in your portfolio? Just tap the AI icon on any card to request contextual insights:

Mezzi mobile performance chart with an AI insight control beside the section heading.
Interface from the article dated March 14, 2025.

You'll see insights like:

  • Performance: Which accounts and stocks are driving your performance
  • Allocation: Opportunities to diversify
  • Concentration: Major changes in top holdings
  • Top movers: Which sectors are winning and losing

The AI icon appears on cards throughout the app, including:

  • Account overview
  • Performance
  • Top movers
  • Dividend income
  • Allocation
  • And more

Where AI Insights Are Available

Use the AI icon wherever you want more context about a portfolio change or result. Because the analysis starts from the card you are viewing, you can move from spotting a change to exploring what drove it without starting a separate search.

Ask why the number changed

Suppose a portfolio balance rises by $10,000 over a month, including an $8,000 deposit. Ask the Performance card's AI: “Separate contributions from investment gains for this period, and list the accounts included.” The full $10,000 increase should not be described as investment profit. Timing and the method used also matter when converting gains into a return percentage.

For a Concentration card, ask whether the percentage includes direct holdings, fund exposure or both. The same dollar holding can look different as a share of one account versus the whole portfolio.

What should a contextual answer include?

Look for the date range, account scope, supporting figures and any missing information. Starting from a card reduces the need to restate your question, but it does not establish that every institution has updated or every explanation is correct. Check the available data before acting on a suggested change. For goals or constraints the card cannot infer, add them through AI personalization.
