New in Mezzi: Use Mezzi inside ChatGPT and Claude

Here's an update for the Claude and ChatGPT power users.

If you've already wired up your AI assistants with your calendar, inbox, and docs, there's still one major blind spot they have: your money.

Now, you can connect Mezzi to both via MCP (Model Context Protocol) and enrich your conversations with your financial context.

How to connect in Claude

1. Go to Settings → Connectors, or visit claude.ai/customize/connectors.
2. Click the "+" and choose Add custom connector.
3. Name it "Mezzi" and paste: https://api.mezzi.com/mcp‍
4. Click Add, then Connect, and sign in to Mezzi when prompted.
5. In any chat, click the "+", choose Add connectors, and toggle Mezzi on.

How to connect in ChatGPT

1. In Settings → Apps & connectors → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
2. Back in Apps & connectors, click Create, name it “Mezzi” and paste: https://api.mezzi.com/mcp‍
3. Complete the sign-in to Mezzi.
4. In a new chat, open the "+" menu and then select Mezzi.

Tip: To ensure ChatGPT or Claude is actually pulling live data instead of guessing, look for an execution block (like “Used Mezzi” or “Talked to api.mezzi.com”) right above the model's response. If you don't see it, simply remind the chatbot to check Mezzi. (Note: This feature performs best on paid plans like ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro)

Your data privacy remains entirely under your control. Mezzi only securely exposes the specific portfolio data you explicitly authorize, and we can never see or track your conversations with your chatbot. You can disconnect this integration instantly from your AI settings at any time.

Mezzi vs. general chatbot

While powerful, Claude, ChatGPT, and others are best for qualitative and informational questions. Standalone, they aren't built to produce accurate math or provide financial advice.
